Jim Elliot once said," Wherever you are, be all there." The art of being present. I call this an art because all too often, we all fall into the habit of living in the past or living in the future. It is not bad to plan, in fact, a plan or goals make the present a little bit more clear. Living in the present allows us to focus on what needs to be done, right now, in order to maintain our happiness in the future.
Live in the now, and appreciate the present
Sometimes I find myself saying "Once I have this, I'll be happy". The fact of the matter is, once you have that thing, you may be happy once you get whatever it is your are searching for. After some time you will go back to the same level of happiness that you were before. When you find yourself drifting into this place of want, remind yourself that although it may be nice to have this thing, you are perfectly happy with what you have, right now. Appreciate your belongings, your career, and your loved ones. Try to ignore the thoughts that attempt to disrupt this respect and appreciation. Live in the now, and appreciate the present.

We all have different definitions for the word success.
Success is a funny word in that there is no definition that can properly say what success really is. To some, success may be running a business, getting a degree or having a certain position at your job. To others, success may be finding a new love, connecting with new people, or finally getting into headstand (this one's for you, yogis). The truth is, we need to put less stress on ourselves when it comes to this word. Success means something different for everyone, and that is okay. The best that we can do is to believe in ourselves, and believe in our own definition of success.
It is okay to not be okay
"It is okay to not be okay". This is a phrase that I heard this a lot from my mother when I was growing up. We sometimes have it suck in our heads that we are not aloud to admit that we are not okay. Sometimes we have bad days and sometimes we have good days. Somedays we finish our day happy, and sometimes we finish our day sad. THAT IS OK. When you are not okay, remind yourself that that is okay. It is okay, to not be okay in this present moment.

Give yourself a high-five for what you have accomplished, and work in the present to make the future bright. Remember that you are a goddess, right here, right now.
